came back from OBS ytd and was too tired to even blog properly. haha
the five day camp was fun and i think i have learn many things. at first i thought it will b like my sec 3 camp. i was wrong though coz tis camp is more challenging then my sec 3 camp. damn tiring!!!
OBS is in ubin. we took a boat to ubin. many sch came and i saw humaira and farteen. was so shocked tat they went too=D i oso saw one of my primary sch friend, Lim Xuan (but i dont dare talk to her only until friday then i ask her if she rmb me. ok it is lame=D)
first day in OBS. we were in camp 2. my grp is Columbus and instructor is a funny malay guy Hyzue.we did high element(my favourite) but because it was raining and so we only did flying fox. the water there was disgusting!!! how i miss singapore water!!! first time of my life i slept in tents and oso the first time i cook my meal with solid fuels. slp on muddy grass...
second day in OBS. we kayak 600m to camp 1 and i fell twice and earn the tittle "accident prone girl". haha u dont have to know how i fall coz it is so embarrassing. then we did jetty jump. it was fun except tat i dont like the sea water entering my nose. in camp 1 was one of the best moment in the 5 day camp coz we dont have to cook our own food plus we have apple syrup to drink!!!(dont have to drink ubin disgusting water!!!) we pitch our tents in the "forest" of camp 1.
third day in OBS. we kayak around 15km around ubin to some shore which i cant rmb the name. in the sea, i saw a jelly fish!!! again tis is the first time i c a jelly fish. and throughout the journey, we saw wild boars and monitor lizard. i partner with jia lin and the whole lot of us spend 5 hrs and 30 min to reach our designation. while they were playing "washing machine" in the sea, me, ying and pam were picking sea shells at the shore. tat day we cant bath coz the water there was dirty water. then the night came and we went for our night walk. learn many things abt ubin and the ppl there. looking at singapore, i realise tat ubin is so peaceful and nice except for the plentyful of sand flies and mosquito. tat night we have a little talk with Izue. Izue noe abt how horoscope is link to a person personality and character. and so i ask him abt 31 Jan and 14 Dec. end up the whole camp noe abt 31 jan but they dunno who. =D (Izue keep disturbing me abt 31 Jan. lols but on the last day he found out who the person is...)
fourth day in OBS. we hike back to camp 2. Columbus again is the earliest to reach camp 2. three cheers to Columbus!!! we went to the wetland and we pass by a cottage with information abt marine life of ubin.
Last day in OBS. finally only on tis day i saw the whole sky full of stars!!! b4 we go off, we did another high element. we climb up a piece of log b4 jumping down and trying to hold on to a metal bar. i didnt manage to hold onto the bar coz my standing board jump is lousy. lols.
finally we left the camp and return to singapore. haha first thing me, pam, ying and jk did was to went to hougang mall KFC and eat!!!
shall update more on my next post and oso i shall upload all the photos. going out now=D
